LG: Learn about the timed essay scoring process and study anchor papers from the College Board archive.
Make and support a claim with valid evidence and reasoning. CBAPELC LO3—create and sustain arguments based on readings, research, and/or personal experience
HW: Read pp. 559-562 in Patterns: Recognizing Fallacies. Add to your Thank You for Arguing notes on the major fallacies.

LG: Students will synthesize what they have learned in the past two weeks regarding the six keys, structure of argument, and occasions and types of arguments AND they will consider the anchor papers in order to write their own timed argument essay.
