Planning your week....

Monday 5/8 Work on AP test prep packet independently
Wednesday 5/10 AP Language and Composition test in the Presidential gym. Report by 7:30. Remember all we have learned, studied, and practiced. Bring your 5 game! Relax and concentrate and write deeply developed, considerate, insightful, thoughtful, articulate essays that make a sound argument. You can do it!

Monday, May 8

You will have a sub today. Mrs. Brown will be here for you.
  1. I've left two AP study packets. The first is general advice and an overview of all that we have learned. Please read this first and review key terms and strategies.
  2. Follow the steps in the second packet to work through the 3 types of FRQs.
  3. Then read the student exemplar papers to compare your ideas to the ideas on the high-scoring student samples. Where do they align? What observations and examples do they have in common? What can you borrow for your won essays on Wednesday? Find examples of genius thinking and stylish writing that you want to emulate.
